In addition to selling eggs, honey, and goats from the farm; we’re now adding new goat milk soaps! And, we’re working on a blog and website upgrade so they can be ordered on-line, and be shipped or picked up.
Goat milk soap is such a wonderful product, it really is a little bit of luxury and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated.
Unlike most commercial soaps where the glycerin has been removed, our goat milk soaps are the real thing (i.e. they still contain the glycerin), and give a superior feel when you’re using them.
I work on the recipes carefully (they’re cold process soaps), and test them on lots of folks – to make sure each recipe is perfect before releasing them.
Our first soap is called “Luxury Lavender Goat Milk Soap“, and it contains goat milk, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, lye (sodium hydroxide), sweet almond oil, lavender essential oil, and rosemary oleoresin extract. It’s got as much lavender essential oil added as I can get into it because I love the scent of lavender so much.
After making each batch, it cures for 6 – 8 weeks before being packaged. I like the packaging we’ve chosen, because it protects the soap when being handled, but you can still smell the wonderful scent. Each bar is a little over 5 ounces, and they’re priced at $5.99 each.
