Garden Seed Supplies/Links- these are seed suppliers that sell heirloom, open-pollinated, and non-genetically modified seed. I love to get their yearly garden catalogs and study the possible varieties during the long, cold winters.

Hatcheries/Links- these are all larger, reliable hatcheries that also offer catalogs that you can request or view on-line. The location of the hatchery is included in the description below; because all other things being equal, I’d rather have chicks shipped from near not far.

Stromberg’s - Stromberg’s says “We have been proudly supplying America with the finest chicks, adult birds, hatching eggs and a full range of supplies for raising chickens, waterfowl and gamebirds for four generations.” They offer a free color catalog here and are located in Pine River, Minnesota.
