We have added a new senior Nigerian Dwarf goat to Bramblestone Farm – Cuatlilredbarn Pearl. I watched her at linear appraisal last year and mentioned to her owner that I’d like to buy her if she ever decided she wanted to sell. And this spring she did!
The move to our farm stressed Pearl quite a bit and she slowed down on milk production a lot. But, after coming out of quarantine and meeting the other does, she seems to be settling in and production is going back up.
She also made it to the farm in time to participate in linear appraisal and scored an 88 VVVV as a second freshener! That’s pretty good for a second freshener, especially since she’d just made the move to our farm and was stressed.
We’ve only taken pictures of her once so far and they really don’t do her justice so we’ll need to do another photo session. Still, I wanted to announce that we’ve got another beautiful doe on the farm!
I really like how long and level she is, the amount of brisket she shows, the correctness of her legs and the way she blends together. I’m also impressed by her pedigree and both her sire and dam.
Her dam 1*M GCH Cu At Lil Red Barn Abey *D is just spectacular looking and what an udder on her! Her permanent LA score is 91 EEEE and the link to her page is HERE.
You can find Pearl’s graphical pedigree HERE and our plans for breeding her this fall are already on our Kidding Schedule. I’m really delighted to have the beautiful doe join the farm!

Hi, Lesa! I was trying to message you get on your waiting list for a buckling after checking out your 2019 kidding schedule, but when I submit your contact form, it doesn’t appear to be going through! (Either that, or it did go through but displayed an error and I ended up spamming you! – if that’s the case, I’m so very sorry!) Could you email me at awesomegoats@sundazefarm.com so I could put in my reservation (not sure what your email is?) Thanks so much!
