Bramblestone Goats Go To Columbus Zoo!

Today seven Nigerian Dwarf Bramblestone goats go to Columbus Zoo! Bramblestone Goats Go To Columbus Zoo

4*M Bramblestone Sun Tea 4*D plus her kids (Brambleberry Tea, Ginseng Tea, and Matcha Tea – named by the zoo staff) and Bramblestone MQ Windsong plus her kids (Times New Roman and Franklin Gothic – also named by the zoo staff) left for new homes in Columbus at the zoo.

First, they will go into quarantine, but after the quarantine period, they will become part of the Columbus petting zoo. The goat kids are only about 2 1/2 weeks old, so they will join the petting zoo while quite young so everyone can observe cute baby goats growing up!

Which Bramblestone Goats Go To Columbus Zoo?

Here’s who left for the zoo today:

4*M Bramblestone Sun Tea 4*D

Her 2019 doeling, born 1st on 6/1/19 at about 11:00 PM:

Her 1st buckling:

Bramblestone Ginseng Tea

 And her second buckling (polled):

Bramblestone Matcha Tea

The other family also leaving:

Bramblestone MQ Windsong

Her 1st buckling, born 6/4/19 at about7:45 PM:

The Columbus Zoo staff assures me that they will all be very well taken care of and have their own personal caretakers to watch out for them. I hear there was a filming crew just waiting for their arrival!

If you’re visiting the, you should be able to find them in the North American region in the petting zoo. Be sure to stop by and give them a pet or hug!

Oh goodness, I didn’t realize Sun Tea was one of the gals to be leaving!! *sniffles* It must be hard to say goodbye, but I’m sure they will be in excellent hands! We’re hoping to make a trip out to the Columbus Zoo sometime, so if we do, we’ll be SURE to stop by and give them some love. <3 Does this mean you are making some room for some new bloodlines?!
