How To Get A Free 2023 Chicken Calendar

2023 chicken calendar cover Did you know that you can get totally free 2023 chicken calendar(s) from the USDA?

To help educate backyard poultry keepers about infectious poultry diseases and protect their birds, the United States Department of Agriculture is again offering FREE yearly calendars for 2023, called: DEFEND THE FLOCK (click on the title to see what the calendar looks like online).

Each year, it’s a full-color calendar with great photographs of poultry, so I send off and get it every year. Actually, I usually order two and they send two. Last year I ordered six and they sent six. I found that they make a nice gift for my chicken-keeping friends!

How To Get Your Free 2023 Chicken Calendar(s)

Step 1:

Click the link below to go to the site where you can find the free 2023 calendar information:

https://mrp-woeis.secure.force.com/apex/WOEIS_PublicSite_Catalog

Step 2:

This is what the site looks like – type VS-21-004 into the search box as shown below, and this is what it will come up with.

Step 3:

The site gives instructions for ordering items at the top of the screen, but you just need to enter the quantity you’d like under “ENTER QUANTITY” and click the plus sign under “ADD TO CART”. I requested six and this is what the screen should look like after the calendars are in your cart.

Step 4:

Next, click the “Go to Cart” button at the bottom of the screen. You should get a form that asks for address information like the one below so they can send you the calendar. Fill out your information and click the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5:

Next, you should get a pop-up telling you your information was saved. Click “OK” in the bottom right corner, and then the “Submit Order” button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6:

Your final screen should look like the one below.

Step 7:

Check your e-mail, you should have a message like this confirming your order.

And, within a couple of weeks (this year, it took just under a month for mine to arrive), the following should show up:

So, if you’re looking for some excellent 2023 calendars, here’s your opportunity to get them FREE! Please don’t try to order them from me, you have to order them from the USDA as described above.

This year, I tried to order six again, and I received three. Maybe they’re cutting back – let me know what happens with your order!
