The first round of Nigerian Dwarf goat kids have arrived at Bramblestone Farm, and we’re excited to have little goat kids
One doe (Bramblestone Sun Tea) freshened with 3 kids, but they were all stillborn. Our Vet believes that the umbilical cords were broken shortly before she freshened – it was sad. And Bramblestone Amethyst freshened with 3 kids, but one didn’t make it.
So, we have 11 goat kids, and more won’t be arriving until May. There are six bucklings (all polled) and five doelings (three polled). We’re starting to get pictures of them, as follows:
