Welcome! New Combined Bramblestone Farm and Better Hens and Gardens Website

Well, I’ve wanted to merge the Better Hens and Gardens blog with the Bramblestone Farm website for a long time, New Website Collage 2and with the help of Erica of Erica Mueller Designs, it has finally happened!

The new site brings the blog posts from Better Hens and Garden and the farm information from Bramblestone Farm into one location, which should make it easier for everyone.

The new design is very visual, and I hope will make it easier to find information. For example, if you just click on a category (such as CHICKENS) you can pretty easily scroll through all the blog posts written on chickens. Or, if just interested in the latest content that’s been added, it’s all available on the home page.

All the information on the goats and farm can easily be accessed from the top blue menu on the home page, so if you want to see information on a goat or check out goat kid reservations (KIDDING SCHEDULE), it’s all just a click away. The old Bramblestone website will be going away, and using that URL will take everyone to this site instead.

Bramblestone Honey and Goat Milk

Besides combining the website and blog, new shopping functionality will be coming soon! That will make it possible to purchase things like Bramblestone Farm honey, goat milk soaps, or books (from my new e-book series on Nigerian Dwarf goats) on-line!

Book1_4The design and transition to the new website has gone almost flawlessly (at least from my perspective, not sure how Erica feels), and I’d highly recommend Erica if you’re looking to have web design or redesign work done. I’m sure a few glitches will turn up, but I’m very happy that I chose to go this route. I love the new theme, new look, and am excited about the changes still to come. Take a look around, and let us know what you think!

P.S. Don’t forget to click the HOME button, to get the overall perspective/
