CUATLILREDBARN PEARL

I first saw Pearl as she was being linearly appraised in 2017 and was impressed by how well she was put together. At that time, she scored 86 VV+V as a first freshener which is quite good; however, my friend Cindy talked about selling her. So, I asked her to contact me if she ever decided to follow through. I didn’t know anything about Pearl’s pedigree at the time, but it turns out she’s got some awesome genetics.

In the spring of 2018, I got the call and Pearl came to Bramblestone Farm. And even though she was stressed from the move and being in quarantine, she made it to the farm in time to participate in linear appraisal. And, she scored an 88 VVVV as a second freshener! That’s a very good score for a stressed young doe.

The picture above and below are of Pearl as a third freshener. Her udder is not that full in these photos but she certainly is looking wonderful conformationally. Because we are downsizing, I didn’t go on milk test this year or show her, but I believe she would easily have earned her milking stars and also done very well in the show ring. She leads easily and has nice milk stand manners.

Her dam is *M GCH Cu At Lil’Red Barn Abey who’s permanent linear appraisal score is 05-03 91 EEEE!

*M GCH Cu At Lil’Red Barn Abey

Abey has a beautiful mammary system (check out the photos on her page) and it appears that Pearl is following in her hoofprints.

Pearl is littermate sister to CH Cu At Lil Red Barn Fred and Cu At Lil Red Barn Myrtle (3rd Place and 3rd Udder 2 year old at 2017 ADGA National show).

Also, she is half-sister to:

  • 4*M Cu At Lil Red Barn Sultry Princes
  • 3*M Cu At Lil Red Barn Rhea Elk
