5*M Old Mountain Farm Taylor Quinn *D

In the spring of 2013, we drove 14 hours one-way to Maine, to pick up OMF Field Mouse (our first herd sire), and I was thrilled to bring him home. But, we also brought OMF Taylor Quinn home, and I think she’s the bigger gem. She’s now a 5th generation star milker, scored 87 in linear appraisal as a 3rd freshener and is a beautiful doe!

Taylor Right 6/15/16

The photo below is of Taylor’s 3rd freshening udder, and she just continues to improve!

The photo below is of her second freshening udder just prior to being milked (12-hour fill). I’m very pleased with how well attached and capacious she’s looking as a second freshener. She has also earned her AGS milking star and scored 84 in linear appraisal as a second freshener.

You can see how her second freshening udder has improved, the photo below shows her first freshening udder.

She was Reserve Grand Champion Junior doe right behind our own Bamblestone Pearl Tea the only time we showed her in 2013, and in 2014 she was Grand Champion Junior doe the only time we showed! So, she’s earned her restricted championship leg, and we continue to love the way she’s maturing. Here she is as a dry yearling after winning her restricted championship leg.

The photo below is at about 3 months after winning Reserve Grand Champion.

2013 NEODGA Reserve Champ Taylor Her dam and sire are stunning animals (click on the links in her pedigree to see them), and I will be very happy if she inherits their good looks (and her dam’s udder)!
