2018 Kidding Schedule Executed – Polled Goats Probable

Bramblestone Farm’s 2018 kidding schedule has been executed (except for Harle Quinn who’s holding out) and Bramblestone Farm's 2018 kidding schedule executed - we will have goat kids from awesome bloodlines, a disease free herd, and polled kids are probable. we’re expecting goat kids from high-quality bloodlines at the end of March/beginning of April.

The table below shows who’s been bred to whom, when the goat kids are due, pricing, links to the does/bucks pages, and links to the kid’s pedigree.

We breed for conformation, milk, & show and the herd is based on bloodlines from Old Mountain Farm, Dragonfly, and Buttin’Heads.

For those looking for polled goat kids from awesome bloodlines, all of the pairings this year (except for the Old Mountain Farm Taylor Quinn x Old Mountain Farm Springloaded) include a polled dam or sire, so polled kids are probable. For those looking for color, there’s a lot of moonspotting going on too.

The entire adult herd again tested negative for CAE, CL, and Johne’s on 11/02/17 plus Ohio is certified disease-free for Brucellosis and TB ensuring disease free kids.

We are currently taking reservations on most of the pairings and you can see what’s been reserved so far by scrolling to the right in the table below. Reservations don’t cost anything – we don’t take money until after the goat kids are born. At that time, half the purchase price is due to hold the goat kid until pickup.

These look like some outstanding pairings so I’m excited about spring kids!

We sure are Wendy! Today we cleaned out stalls and separated all the pregnant girls into their own individual pens. About one week and the kidding should commence 🙂

Great, let me know when you’re ready Amanda! I was a little lax on taking pictures of the little ones this year, so I’m anxiously looking forward to these kids too.
