There are lots of possibilities for using wine corks creatively and making a holiday, wine cork wreath is particularly fun during the Christmas season.
Of course, you can create one for any occasion simply by changing the type of floral accent and bow that you use.
They make nice decorations or gifts particularly if you’re looking for frugal ideas and drink wine.
The materials needed to complete the wreath are minimal and inexpensive:
- straw wreath form (I used a 12″ diameter form for the wreath shown)
- floral spray in season-appropriate colors that you can snip off for floral accents
- large bow
- wine corks
- hot glue gun
Making a wine cork wreath is easy, simply hot-glue the wine corks to the straw wreath form in a random pattern.
Wine Corks Randomly Glued On Straw Wreath Form
The wine corks should cover the top and outer sides of the straw wreath form but a small area at the top of the wreath should be left empty. Once all the wine corks are in place, cut sprigs from the floral spray and glue them into the empty spaces between the wine corks.

Then attach the bow to the empty space left at the top to create the finished wreath.
