We are very excited to announce that Old Mountain Farm SisLee and StagLee recently traveled from Old Mountain Farm in Maine to join us at their new home on Bramblestone Farm.
Old Mountain Farm SisLee is the daughter of 2*M AR SG NC PromisedLand Nemesis 2*D (click on her name to go to her OMF page) and Old Mountain Farm Allegiance. Nemesis scored 90 VEEE in linear appraisal at 9 years old while Allegiance scored 87 VEE at 4 years old.
SisLee looks a great deal like her beautiful dam. You can see SisLee’s graphical four generation pedigree HERE.
SisLee’s son, Old Mountain Farm StagLee came with her. I have always desired a +B SG Old Mountain Farm Stag (click on his name to go to his OMF page) son, and StagLee is just that! Old Moutain Farm Stag has sired so many wonderful goats but he’s getting old, so I thought that my chances of ever owning an Old Mountain Farm Stag son were over.
But then, SisLee had one more Stag son and Cheryle agreed to sell them both – we are thrilled! Sadly, he may be the last Old Mountain Farm Stag son.
I generally don’t care too much about the color of a Nigerian Dwarf goat but chamois is my favorite and I’m so happy that StagLee is a chamois. You can view his pedigree HERE and here he is:
StagLee seems quite the confident little guy and we’re enjoying his antics. StagLee’s not old enough to participate in our Kidding Schedule this year, but I’m looking forward to seeing lots of StagLee sons and daughters in the future. Hopefully, many chamoises too! Here’s StagLee’s baby picture:
I’m feeling quite blessed to have the beautiful and handsome Nigerian Dwarf goats Old Mountain Farm SisLee and StagLee join our farm. Thanks to Cheryle and Wyl at Old Mountain Farm for breeding such wonderful goats and sending them out to the world for us to enjoy!

Hi Lesa. Congratulations on your new goats. I was looking for the rest of your books in the series about caring for Ng. I found the 101, but was interested in the others. Can you help me? Thanks.

Hi Maria,
Thank you for your interest in my books! I’m just finishing up 201 now and expect to put it up for sale shortly. Then start writing 301. So, they’re coming but it takes a little time 🙂
